“It takes strength to make your way through grief, to grab hold of life and let it pull you forward.” – Patti Davis

It might have been a day since someone you love has died or 10 years. Healing after grief can happen but only when you’re ready.

I hope that since you’ve found your way to this program you’re ready to begin.

I’m Alison Jacobson and my infant son Connor died in 1997 from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Last year my best friend died after an 18-month battle with cancer. I’m also the CEO of the non-profit organization First Candle and work with grieving families every day.

While one death was sudden and unexpected and the other was the inevitable end to a terrible disease, both profoundly changed me. My son’s death transformed me in miraculous ways that I never could have imagined. It made me realize that my true calling is helping people. And that’s my goal with this program, to help you start seeing the light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

Whether you’re grieving the death of a child, spouse, parent, sibling, or friend this program will help you:

Understand the grieving process.

Realize that there is no “normal” way to grieve.

Develop healthy coping strategies.

Manage your feelings of anger and guilt.

Navigate the grief process with your partner.

Deal with friends and family who are intrusive or in denial.

Begin to envision your future.

Most importantly it will help you answer the question – “Will I ever feel better?”

With journaling prompts, exercises, and affirmations plus 5 videos from me, you’ll have the tools you need to begin to move forward feeling stronger, happier, and at peace.

All of the materials can be downloaded and reviewed as often as needed.
